Microsoft Certified Professional

The Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) credential is for expert IT professionals who have the skills to successfully implement a Microsoft product or technology as part of a business solution in an organization.
MCP program is worldwide based program and is provided in over 200 countries and areas. It started from 1993 in Japan and as of today now we have over 130 thousands MCP in Japan.

Microsoft Certified Associate Program

The Microsoft Certified Associate (MCA) credential is for IT professionals who have the skills to successfully implement a common Microsoft product or technology as part of a business solution in an organization. MCA program is Japanese local program and provides 4 kinds of credentials, MCA Platform (OS Network), MCA Database (Database design), MCA Application (.NET Application design) and MCA Security. It started from 2001 and as of today we have over 15 thousands MCA in Japan. (As of June, 2005)

Microsoft Sales Specialist

Exams are no longer available for the Microsoft Sales Specialist (MSS) certification after November, 2004.

Microsoft Official Trainer

The Microsoft Official trainer (MOT) credential holders play an important role in Microsoft Office Products training and certification process. They are regarded as Microsoft office product and course experts who have the instructional skills and technical qualifications to deliver quality training to Information Workers who use Office. MOT program is Japanese local program and provides each latest 2 versions’ Office Products as Microsoft Word 2002, Microsoft Excel 2003 and so on. It started from 1991 and as of today we have over 11 thousands MOT in Japan.

Microsoft Office Specialist

Microsoft Office Specialist (Office Specialist) certification, the premier Microsoft desktop certification, is a globally recognized standard for demonstrating desktop skills. The Office Specialist program is helping meet the demand for qualified and knowledgeable people in the modern workplace. Office Specialist MCP program is worldwide based program and started from 1997 in Japan. As of today now we have over 600 thousands Office Specialist in Japan.

Microsoft officials said last week that the company would release a new test build of its Office 2010 suite in July. But it looks like some testers got it at the end of this week and subsequently leaked it to the Web.

The build that leaked is not the January alpha. It likely is the invitation-only test build due to g o out officially to thousands of invited testers this summer. Ars Technica has screen shots up, showing the Ribbonization of the entire Office 2010 (”Office 14″) family. The new “SharePoint Workspace Manager” product (a k a, relabeld Groove synchronization client), which Microsoft acknowledged this past week would be part of the Office 2010 Professional Plus SKU, is part of the leaked bits. Windows-Now blogger Robert McLaws has screen shots up showing one way Microsoft is planning to “light up” Office 2010 when it is used with Windows 7 (via an Office jump list).

SharePoint 2010 is slated to go to a group of testers in July, as well. But it sounds like that SharePoint’s planned Community Tchnology Preview (CTP) will be conducted separately from the Office 2010 client one.

Anyone seen a leaked copy of the Office Web Apps — the Web versions of the 2010 client apps that also are supposed to go to testers in July?
